The Minister of Finance, Cassiel Ato Forson, is currently dominating trends on X (formerly Twitter) following the release of a new political poll by Global InfoAnalytics.
According to the poll, Ato Forson is emerging as a formidable figure within the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), particularly ahead of the party’s 2028 presidential race.
The polling firm indicated that:
“Ato Forson is the biggest threat to Johnson Asiedu Nketia’s ambition to lead the NDC in the 2028 presidential elections.”
The findings have sparked widespread discussion online, propelling Ato Forson into the top trending conversations on X.
The development follows a Facebook post by Mussa Dankwa, who shared further insights from the poll. According to him, Asiedu Nketia currently leads other key contenders comfortably but faces stiff competition from Ato Forson.
The data suggests that Asiedu Nketia leads Haruna Iddrisu by 20 percentage points in a head-to-head contest and also holds a 23-point lead over Julius Debrah. However, his lead over Ato Forson narrows significantly to just 5 points.
