Reports indicate that popular Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo has died after a reported battle with kidney cancer.
According to a Nollywood source who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity, the actor was rushed to the hospital on Monday after his health reportedly deteriorated.
The source disclosed that Alex had been battling kidney cancer and was placed on life support before passing away on Tuesday afternoon.
Rumours about the actor’s health first surfaced in May 2025 following his prolonged absence from social media.
