Member of the Alliance for Movement for Change, Solomon Owusu has described the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) nationwide ‘Thank You Tour’ as needless and unnecessary.
According to Solomon Owusu who was a former member of the NPP, the party instead of going on a ‘Thank You Tour’ should rather embark on an ‘Apology Tour’ to apologize for their bad governance.
Solomon Owusu urged the NPP to apologize for the hardship they brought on Ghanaians and ask for forgiveness for the numerous crimes they committed against the country while in power.
Owusu made these comments on TV3 on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, while reaction to the withdrawal of Kennedy Agyapong from the NPP’s ‘Thank You Tour’ after the attack on his supporter in Kumasi.
“The NPP should embark on an Apology Tour and not Thank You Tour because they really need to apologize to Ghanaians for the bad governance they gave us while in power,” Owusu said.
