The 2025 overall best graduate of the Ghana School of Law, Latifa Teiya Fuseini, Esq., has encouraged aspiring lawyers and students to remain focused and disciplined in their academic pursuits.
Latifa Teiya Fuseini, Esq. was recognized at the call to the Bar ceremony in Accra on October 10, where she received the John Mensah Sarbah Memorial Prize for emerging as the top student among 824 new lawyers.
Speaking on Pan African Television on October 13, Teiya Fuseini Esq. described the show of congratulatory messages she is receiving since the ceremony as “so beautiful.”
“I’ve received so many comments and messages. People telling me to mentor them, asking me what the secret is,” she said.
She went on to say that there is no secret except staying focused on succeeding.
“I keep telling them there’s no magic secret. It’s just dedication, hard work, commitment. Just discipline yourself, do what you have to do.”
She further advised students to manage their time wisely and avoid distractions, specifically social media.
“Priorities. Prioritize your time. Don’t waste too much time on social media. Especially when you have exams coming up, just stay focused,” she added.
She emphasized that such a feat is within everyone’s reach.
“It’s not something you can’t attain to, it’s very attainable. Just be dedicated,” she stressed.
Latifa Teiya Fuseini, Esq. is also the daughter of former Deputy Northern Regional Minister, Alhassan Bashir Fuseini.
