Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer, Moses Abor has threatened to stage a naked demonstration against the arrest of Bernard Antwi Bosiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP was arrested by EOCO on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, after his visit to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
Reacting to the arrest, Moses Abor described the arrest as an attempt by the ruling National Democratic Congress to silence its opponents hence the arrest of Chairman Wontumi.
“I’m going to sleep here till the next day until Wontumi has been released. I want to tell president Mahama that he has only two and half years more to do what is right because we don’t want to advice ourselves.”
“I have already spoken to my General Secretary that if care is not taken we will hit the streets. If care is not taken we will stage a naked demonstration in this country because what is going on is not fair,” Moses Abor said.
