Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Lawyer Sarfo Duku has said that he disagrees with critics that the Porcupine Warriors cannot compete in the 2025/2026 CAF Confederation Cup.
Asante Kotoko will be Ghana’s representative in the CAF Confederation Cup in the coming season after beating Golden Kicks FC 2-1 in the MTN FA Cup finals at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
However, with most pundits writing them off, Sarfo Duku has assured their fans that they have the men and pedigree to compete well in the Africa inter club competitions.
“We have the men and pedigree to compete in Africa. The name Asante Kotoko alone can take us far in Africa and we need the support of everywhere,” Sarfo Duku said on Happy FM on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
He added that Asante Kotoko will strengthen their team though their recruitments in the transfer window.
