Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakhene has refuted claims that he used state funds to organize the 2025 AshantiFest.
According to Dr. Frank Amoakhene, all the expenses related to the event were covered using locally generated resources from the region and were not taken from government’s coffers.
He stated that it is very important for him to make this clear before he will later be accused of embezzling State funds through the organization of the Ashanti Festival.
“We didn’t use state funds to organize this festival so before people will go and say the small boy Minister is misusing the state resources. We mobilize resources within the region to organize this resources becuase the business here know the benefit they get from this region they just need leadership to show the way and they will support the idea.
