Veteran Ghanaian actor, Samuel Karikari popularly called Koo Ofori in the showbiz industry has reportedly been arrested by the Accra Central Police Command for alleged fraudulent activities.
In a viral video circulating on social media that has been sighted by newsdeskgh.com, Koo Ofori was seen being escorted to the police station in handcuffs.
Koo Ofori who is widely known for his role in the popular TV Series “Efie Wura” for allegedly defrauding a Ghanaian based in the United States of America to the tune of $50,000.
The reports stated that the victim allegedly paid $50,000 to the popular actor of a legitimate investments but turned out to be a scam.
Further reports also claimed that Koo Ofori was arrested after a bench warrant for issued by the Danso District Court for defaulting on the payments of the money owed the victim.
