Private legal practitioner and member of the Convention People Party (CPP), Lawyer Kwame Jantuah has urged the government to use the situation of Vice president Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang as a trigger point to improve the health system in Ghana.
Vice president Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang returned to Ghana after her 45 days of medical leave in the United Kingdom.
Reacting to the news about the Vice president’s return, Lawyer Kwame Jantuah said this should serve as a lesson to the government because not everybody will have the resources to travel outside for medical care.
He said he is sure that there are Ghanaians who have the same illness as that of the Vice president but cannot travel lout because they don’t have the resources so the responsibility is on the government to make sure that our health system are improved significantly.
