Private legal practitioner, Martin Kpebu has characterized former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta’s reasons for failing to honor the Office of Special Prosecutor’s invitation as fraudulent.
Martin Kpebu asserted that Ken Ofori-Atta has consistently acted fraudulently, which according to him is the reasons why Majority of the NPP Members of Parliament called on the then president Akufo-Addo to sack him.
However, according to Kpebu, the President refused to act because Ofori-Atta is his relative and was allegedly generating financial benefits for their family through Data Bank.
“The conduct of Ken Ofori-Atta is fraudulent and that is why NPP MPs wanted him out of office. Akufo-Addo didn’t sack him because he was making money for their family through Data,” Martin Kpebu said on TV3’s New Day Show on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
Kpebu added that it is good that Ken Ofori-Atta has been declared wanted and a fugitive of justice by the Office of Special Prosecutor for failing to honor the invite.
