Solomon Owusu, a leading member of Alliance for Movement for Change has urged the Office of the Special Prosecutor to go beyond declaring former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta as a wanted person and a fugitive of Justice.
According to Solomon Owusu, the first step of putting Ken Ofori-Atta on Interpol’s red notice has been achieved but he should put a bounty on his head to incentivized people to give him up.
Solomon Owusu said a bounty of $5 million should be placed on Ken Ofori-Atta’s head because Ghanaians in the United States are ready to help facilitate his speedy return to the country.
“The first step of putting Ken Ofori-Atta on Interpol red notice has been achieved but the Special Prosecutor should go further by putting a bounty on his head and I tell you we will see him in this country within a month.”
“A bounty of $5 million should be put on Ken Ofori-Atta’s head because he has no plans to return to Ghana willingly. Ghanaians in the US are ready to help return him to Ghana but we should motivate them by putting a bounty on his head because declaring him wanted alone is not enough,” Solomon Owusu said on UTV.
