Minority Leader, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin has shared his painful experience of losing his only sister.
According to Afenyo-Markin, her sister fell ill but his grandma didn’t take her to the hospital but rather resorted to prayers.
He shared in an interview with Kafui Dey that the sickness became worse to the extent that she couldn’t walk again and was only crawling.
Afenyo-Markin who broke down in tears narrating the story said her grandma only realized that her sister needed a medical care after she collapsed one time in the house.
“She took her to the nearest clinic across the street, they were there the whole night but I heard my grandma saying that she had passed away. She was my only sister,” Afenyo-Markin said.
