Sammy Gyamfi must be suspended – Minority tells President Mahama

The Minority in Parliament has demanded for the immediate suspension of the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), Sammy Gyamfi, after a viral video of him dashing out hundreds of dollars to Nana Agradaa went viral.

At a press conference on Monday, May 12, 2025, Dr. Kabiru Tia Mahama, Member of Parliament for Walewale and a member of the Finance Committee, urged the President to take swift action, citing violations of the Forex Exchange Act and the Currency Act.
