Award winning footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has proposed to his long-time partner, Georgina Rodriguez, after being together for over 9 years.
Georgina confirmed the happy news on Instagram on 11th August, posting a photo of her hand which donned a diamond ring and the caption: “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.”
The couple have shared five children and many accomplishments over the years.
Ronaldo recently stated he was merely waiting for “that click” to propose.
“It could be in a year,” he said during filming for an episode of Georgina’s series on Netflix ‘I Am Georgina.’
“Or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I’m 1,000 percent sure that it will happen.” he added
