Family members of late Immigration Officer, Stephen King Amoah is demaninding for the return of some body parts of the deceased in order to proceed with his burial.
According to the family, some parts of their late family member are missing, and they need whoever is responsible to return it for them to ensure a befitting funeral.
Stephen King Amoah was brutally murdered after he met a friend, Bright Aweh, who is now the main suspect in the case, to collect an unpaid debt in July 2025.
His charred and partly burnt body was later discovered with multiple stab wounds and wrapped in a carpet inside a gutter.
Speaking to the media outside the court premises on Thursday, August 4, the family members asked the lawyer of the accused person Bright Aweh, to ensure that all parts are returned to the family.
According to them, the body is missing a hand and a leg, and they pleaded for them to be returned.
The family members of Stephen King Amoah stated that they cannot not bury him until the missing body parts were recovered.
So far, two suspects, Bright Aweh and Thomas Zigah, have been arrested and remanded in the murder case of Stephen King Amoah.
In a hearing today, September 4, 2025, the court adjourned the case to October 9 in order to give the police additional time to gather more evidence.
Stephen King Amoah left behind a wife and two children under 5 years old.
