President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Gloria Dzifa Ashinyo as Technical Aide to the Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.
In an official appointment letter dated October 3, 2025, the President indicated that Gloria Dzifa Ashinyo will work under and report directly to the Minister for Government Communications, as part of efforts to strengthen government messaging and public information dissemination.
According to the letter, Ashinyo’s role includes providing technical advice and strategic support to the Minister on matters relating to government communications and information flow.
Her duties will also involve conducting research on communication trends, media strategies, and digital platforms aimed at strengthening government messaging across both traditional and digital media.
The President further tasked her to monitor and evaluate public feedback on government communication initiatives and make recommendations to improve engagement and clarity.
“You are also required to liaise with government agencies, media houses, civil society, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective information flow,” the letter added.
