Ghanaian broadcaster, Okatakyie Afrifa has invoked curses on all persons responsible for the destruction of Ghana’s lands and forest reserves in the name of small scale mining popularly known as galamsey.
According to Afrifa, the people behind galamsey are nation wreckers hence the need for the gods and ancestors to wipe them from the face of the earth.
He poured the libation using two bottle of schnapps to invoke curses on the people behind galamsey at the end of his anti galamsey protest.
The social commentator said they cannot use ordinary measures to fight extraordinary situations and that is why he had to call on the gods to intervene and stop galamsey.
