Majority Leader, Mahama Ayariga has announced that he will step in to mediate peace between Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine and Gomoa Central MP Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus.
A Plus has been in the news after labelling the Dr. Dominic Ayine as a thief, corrupt and an old fool whom he will reset his brains in two social media post on Facebook and X respectively.
The Gomoa Central MP has since apologized for the comments he made on Facebook but denied making the corruption allegations stating that the X post was made by a fake account created in his name and not managed by him.
With tensions brewing within the Majority Caucus in Parliament, Mahama Ayariga in an interview with Joy confirmed his intervention and outlined his approach to resolving the matter internally.
“I am actually meeting with them. I’m in the office and then I’m having a meeting very soon with A Plus, and I will reach out to the Attorney General. So I will resolve it internally,”.
Mahama Ayariga also urged the public to ignore media reports that Kwame A Plus has been sacked from the Majority Caucus because of his public utterances against the Attorney General.
