The Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga, has strongly criticized the military’s actions, which has caused a rise in tension in Bawku and is demanding swift measures to calm the unrest.
In a released statement, Mahama Ayariga voiced his objection to the destruction of the statue and condemning the military’s actions of the destruction of the statue of the Zugran of the Kusaug Traditional Area, Asigri Abugrago Azoka II.
