Legon Cities FC have been officially relegated from the ongoing 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season after losing on match day 31 to Nations FC.
The Royals on Monday, May 19, 2025, were whipped 4-1 at the WAFA Park in Sogakope by Nations FC who are now on top of the Ghana Premier League table.
The defeat on matchday 31 confirms the relegation of Legon Cities as a win in their final three games won’t change their position on the League table as they are currently 17th.
Legon Cities currently has 25 points and will accumulate a total of 34 points which will still be below Accra Lions who are currently 16th with 35 points.
With three games to end the season, Nsoatreman and Legon Cities’ relegation have been confirmed while Nations FC and Bibiani Gold Stars, Heart of Lions and Asante Kotoko will be fighting for the Premier League title.
