Legal practitioner, Lawyer Lamtiig Apanga, has donated exercise books and essential stationery to support the pupils of Sekoti Primary School in the Upper East Region.
During his visit with the pupils of Sekoti Primary School, Lawyer Lamtiig Apanga encouraged them to be ambitious, especially those aspiring to enter the legal profession.
According to him, he felt compelled to contribute to the academic journey of these pupils.
His visit to the school formed part of an outreach initiative.
As part of the interaction, Lawyer Apanga invited a Primary Six pupil to the front of the assembly and dressed him in his courtroom wig and gown.
The pupil, Zebre Daniel, showed excitement as he was transformed to look like a lawyer, a moment that drew loud cheers and applause from his classmates.
The brief demonstration was meant to show the pupils how lawyers appear in court.
Speaking to the pupils, Lawyer Apanga stressed on the importance of hard work and focus.
“I encourage you to be bold, disciplined, and focused on your studies. I’m reminding you that every great professional starts with a dream,” he said.
He explained that he hopes the engagement will inspire more children to consider legal practice and other high-level professions as achievable paths, regardless of their background.
The Headteacher of Sekoti Primary School, Abarike Sumaila, expressed his appreciation for the support saying the mentorship and donations had boosted the pupils confidence.
