Gomoa Central MP, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus has apologized for his recent outburst at the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine.
According to Kwame A Plus, although he regrets the words he used while reacting to a publication of the Attorney General’s statement, he has never called him a thief or corrupt.
The Gomoa Central MP stated in his clarification and apology post that the X handle which accused the Attorney General of being a thief and corrupt is a fake account created in his name.
“First and foremost, I want to state, without any ambiguity, that I have never—at any point—accused the Hon. Attorney General, Dr. Ayine, of being corrupt or a thief. That claim is false and misleading. The statements currently in circulation originated from a fraudulent Twitter (X) account that is impersonating me.”
“Although the account bears my name, photograph, and even a verification badge, it is not under my control. As the public is now aware, verification on X can be obtained through a paid subscription, making impersonation easier,” part of his statement read.
A Plus however apologized for calling the Attorney an old fool while reacting to a publication in which the Attorney General dared him to publicize any evidence he has against him to substantiate his corruption allegations against him.
