Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has name Kwadwo Asamoah as the most underrated player he ever played with.
According to Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo had an illustrious career in the Serie A with Juventus and Inter Milan but barely get acknowledged in Ghana.
The duo played in two FIFA World Cup tournaments with the Black Stars and the iconic assist from Kwadwo to Gyan against Portugal in 2014 is is often posted by the World’s football governing body as one of the most iconic goals in the history of the tournament.
Asked to name the most underrated player he ever played with, Asamoah Gyan with thinking twice named Kwadwo Asamoah.
“Kwadwo had a great career. Look at his clubs, he played for Juventus, Inter Milan, and started at Udinese. He had an excellent Black Stars career, and while we accomplished what we set out to do, I think it’s Kwadwo Asamoah,” Gyan remarked.
