The Ghana Black Stars have secured their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after defeating Comoros 1–0 in their final Group I qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday October 12.
This win secured Ghana’s spot in the World Cup, sparking widespread excitement among Ghanaians across the country and on social media.

Some people have however have expressed reservations about the team’s performance under head coach Otto Addo.
They continue to question whether he has what it takes to lead the Black Stars to success at the World Cup.
Otto Addo has made history as the first Ghanaian coach to lead the Black Stars to back-to-back World Cup appearances in 2022 and 2026.
