Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has called on Ghanaians and supporters of the NPP to come to his aid after a team of Police officers and National Security operatives raided his residence.
A team of National Security operatives and Police officers stormed the house of Chairman Wontumi on the morning of Friday, May 23, 2025.
The security forces have surrounded the premises, though the exact reason for the operation remains unclear.
It is also uncertain whether Chairman Wontumi is present at the location or why the security officers are at his residence.
However, Wontumi in an interview with Movement TV has called on NPP supporters to come to his aid because he is being treated this way because of the party.
