Nana Agradaa is on top of X trending charts today after the High Court in Amasaman declined her bail application.
Nana Agradaa’s bail application was denied by the Amasaman High Court, presided over by Justice Richmond Osei-Hwere, on July 15, 2025. The court ruled that Agradaa’s lawyers failed to prove her likelihood of winning on appeal, citing this as the reason for dismissing the bail application.
According to the judge, “Having failed to establish that the conviction is prima facie wrong, it would not bode well for substantial justice for the court to grant Applicant bail pending appeal”.
Patricia Asiedu Asiamah popularly known as Nana Agradaa was sentence to jail for 15 years by the Accra Circuit Court presided over by Justice Evelyn Amoah. She was convicted on charges of defrauding by false pretenses and charlatanic advertisement.
