A former New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Korley Klottey Constituency, Valentino Nii Noi Nortey, is currently in custody in the United States over an alleged attempted homicide case involving his wife.
According to reports, Mr Nortey was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his wife during a domestic altercation. He is presently being held by US authorities while investigations continue.
