After publication, we established that the information was incorrect. Contrary to the earlier report, Professor Kofi Abotsi is alive. It was his wife who has sadly passed away.

We deeply regret the serious error and the distress it may have caused Professor Abotsi, his family, the UPSA Law School community, and the wider legal and academic fraternity. The story has since been withdrawn from all our platforms.
