Matthew Nyindam has maintained a narrow lead in a recent opinion poll ahead of the Kpandai constituency parliamentary re-run election.
His victory in December 2024 was nullified by the Tamale High Court on November 24, 2025, following findings of irregularities.
Parliament subsequently declared the seat vacant.
The poll, conducted by Global InfoAnalytics between December 11 and December 13, ahead of the Kpandai re-run, interviewed 1,065 voters.
The results show the New Patriotic Party’s Matthew Nyindam leading with 50%, followed by the National Democratic Congress candidate, Daniel Nsala Wakpal, with 46%.
Independent candidate Donkor Eric Nipani polled 1%, while 3% of respondents remain undecided.
The Electoral Commission has scheduled the parliamentary re-run for Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
Global InfoAnalytics noted that a final poll will be conducted between December 25 and 28, 2025, to track any shifts in voter preferences ahead of the December 30 re-run election.
