Ofori-Atta, 7 others to be arraigned before court on November 24 - OSP

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) says former Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, together with the seven other accused persons, will be arraigned before the court on Monday, November 24, 2025.

This follows the filing of formal charges earlier this week against Mr. Ofori-Atta, former officials of the Ghana Revenue Authority, the Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML), and the company itself.

In a post on social media on November 20, the OSP posted a court case update.

They wrote, “The Republic v Kenneth Ofori-Atta & 7 Ors. Accused persons will be arraigned before court on Monday, 24 November 2025.”

It added that “The Prosecution will seek the necessary court orders for service of the charge sheet on the fugitives who are outside of the jurisdiction.”

The charges, filed on November 18, include 78 counts of corruption and corruption-related offences against the eight individuals and SML.

The Special Prosecutor also clarified on November 19 that recent media claims suggesting the Interpol Red Notice against Ofori-Atta had been withdrawn were inaccurate.

The office explained that the matter remains under review by Interpol’s Commission for the Control of Files.
