Ghanaian musician, radio presenter, and social activist Blakk Rasta on Sunday, September 7, 2025, staged a protest dubbed “MAD” (Make A Difference) demonstration in Accra after a police officer allegedly took a bribe from him.
Blakk Rasta, known for his outspoken activism, said the demonstration was to call out corruption and demand accountability in Ghana.
The protest attracted a crowd of supporters who chanted and walked along with Blakk Rasta in key parts of the city like Lapaz, Ashiaman and Circle, drawing the attention of commuters and pedestrians.
The protest has since generated mixed reactions online. On Facebook, some users praised the artist for his bold stand, saying his activism could spark real change. Others, however, suggested the demonstration was excessive, arguing that there were more constructive ways to resolve the issue.
