Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah known in the showbiz industry as Shatta Wale has responded to critics associating him with fraud and romance scam.
The arrest of three Ghanaians namely Isaac Kofi Oduro Boateng, Agony and a third accomplice on Friday, June 13, 2025, by the International Criminal Police (Interpol) and the US Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has set social media ablaze.
With many tagging the FBI to investigate Shatta Wale for his alleged involvement in fraudulent activities, the musician has come out to say that his money is clean and he has never associated himself with fraud.
“Many of you in this country are very stupid. You guys are always associating me with every crime and I don’t understand. Because your favorite artists cannot buy the things I buy you are always accusing me of fraud?
“My money is clean, if you want me to teach you then come because all you see hear is music money and nothing else,” Shatta Wale said in a viral video sighted by Newsdesksgh.com.
