Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 elections has said that the NPP gave the power to the National Democratic Congress on a silver platter.
According to Dr. Mahamdu Bawumia, the NDC didn’t win the elections but they in the NPP gave them the power by refusing to show up at the polling stations to vote.
He said the data shows that NPP supporters didn’t show up on December 7 to vote and that is why president John Dramani Mahama won the elections.
Dr. Bawumia said president Mahama won the elections with 1.7 million vote margin so if the 2.1 million NPP supporters who didn’t vote had voted, they would have been declared as the winner.
