A Communication Team Member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Opooman has urged Bernard Antwi Bosaiko AKA Chairman Wontumi to carry his own cross before he enjoyed alone.
Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP on Friday, May 23, 2025, called on Ghanaians and NPP supporters to come to his aid after a team of police and national security operators surrounded his residence seeking his arrest.
Reacting to Wontumi’s call, Opooman called on the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP to call on the specific people he helped with his position when the NPP was in power for 8 years.
He said party foot soldiers will no longer fight for officials who didn’t take care of them while the party was in power for 8 years.
Opooman also urged his colleagues not to fight for any NPP official who is in trouble with the current administration if the said official didn’t use his power to help them when he had the chance.
